Most people who recognize me probably know me only as wizzard. I do have a real name. The evolution of a nickname. Wizards of the past, and perhaps the future.

Been an artist all my life. Just started to call myself one a couple decades ago. What do you do with a 10 gallon acquarium full of pencils? Or several 5 gallon buckets of empty nitrous oxide containers? A normal person looks for a place to sell or dump them. An artist turns them into something. Thus started A Thousand Things. The girls in very rough time order.

I work a day job and it is a rare thing for me to actually get money for any of the art I do. I sit in a cubical pushing electrons around to finance my OTHER life as an artist.

The galleries were my first attempt at organizing this site. And are sort of remnants of the past. A remnant of old structure. Look around the site and find many more examples of the types of art that began in these pages. Making art is the way I learn. Before it was easy, I liked making 3D images. I call myself an artist, but I really enjoy design.

Was one of the few site on the internet to get reasonable quality images of the earth for free. Found my site in the top 20 for many years. A little selection of globes images.

2228 year or so after Archimedes is said to have destroyed an attacking Roman naval fleet using mirrors, we will bring the Sun Tower to the playa and try to set it on fire the same way. I am very proud of how they came out and want to thank Cary McHugh for all the metal work he did as well .
